Hey there! Long time no see!

I was walking toward the food court when I saw her. Gosh, had it been that long? She looked so different! She caught my eye and smiled at me. I wished she hadn't done that. Now like a Magneto's puppet I found myself drawn toward her.

I tried not to stare too hard. It was rude to do that... I think. But a quick scan and several peers out of the corner of my eyes later, I could almost effectively sum her up in a word.

Man, was she b-l-o-o-o-a-t-e-d.

That kangaroo belly pouch!
And panda eyes!
And those matching flab hanging limply from her underarms and elephant thighs and cow-sized.. eh.. calves!

Gosh, that was almost a zoo that she was carrying around. Didn't it feel heavy at all?! She totally resembled a pregnant-Bender-and-Dr-Zoidberg cross mix on a bad day.

I was almost disgusted but I didn't want to be rude. Before I could react, my mobile phone rang. Darn was I grateful. I answered it and an impatient voice came on almost immediately, "Hey whatcha doing standing there and staring dumbly at the mirror?! Don't be so vain larh! Quick, come over here now, we've got a table."

"Okok I’m coming.."

I turned back to her, force-smiled an awkward goodbye smile and hastened clumsily back on original track.
