The fireworks that I missed

I didn't know that there would be fireworks on Labor Day, which was yesterday. I mean, what's so special about this particular public holiday that they decided to give us, the fireworks-starved citizens of Singapore, such a sparklers candy treat? But if they were going to give it to us anyway, they should have advertised it days and days and days before the event! I change my mind. They should have marketed it WEEKS and WEEKS before it. Now I missed it totally.

I'm making no apologies for being such a whiny pig. I love fireworks, or so I think.. Well anyway the point is, if I've to miss catching them coz I can't make it, I might be a little upset. But to miss them coz I don't know about it is so mildly infuriating.
