"So he was actually crying!"

(Flashback) That night as I slept on the sofa, I vaguely remembered hugging 2 month old Lecter as he curled up into a tiny black furball beside me. I wasn't fully aware of the baby being abducted and whisked away from my arms to be thrown into a Survivor: Collegewood pit, where he promptly tasted sadistic tortures too painful for words. Knowing the little mammoth, he probably fought back, angered/excited his tormentor, and in return received heaps more of the Holocaust treatment.

The story went on that the baby ran to his UN for help. That UN was me. In my soporific state, I fought off M. Hitler, resumed Lecter to his rightful position in my arms and zonked out. Probably feeling just plain bored, the torturer turned photographer and put the canon powershot to full use.

When I woke up at some unearthly hour later, I was excited to see the pictures. It had been more than difficult to capture lucent portraits of Lecter (or any black puppy for that matter) with a point and shoot camera and equally amateurish shooting skills. But those shots were [almost] excellently taken.

Anyway, that was beside the point.

(back to present- some 6 months later) “ … now I know why there were tears in his eyes in the photos!! I’d thought that his eyes were wet from being awoken by you taking the photos when actually ... You! Tortured! My! Baby! Again!”

The Tormentor: “Hur hur …”
