Happy 23d, party girl!
Happy 25th, Natty boy!
+++
I don't believe in lasting first love. We were young, carefree and naive. Expectations were not on par with reality. But we learn, and hopefully we grow.
Even beds of roses have their thorns. Contrary to the romantic impressions, long term relationships are like chains, binding you to that sole commitment which is not guaranteed to last. Ephemeral ones are like trampolines, giving you wings to fly ... temporarily. Crushes are like volkalime. Intoxicating. But let too much of that into your system, and you get a hangover.
Sweet.
I know of players who romp the field and those who have yet to have their first relationship. There are also individuals who choose to be single since the end of their last relationships moons ago, and those who just are single after they exited from the couples world.
Somehow somewhere you begin to realize that among them all, those who are high-spirited are usually the relationship high fliers, generally comfortable and settled in their own skins regardless of their BGR status quo. Of course with that, anyone would probably catch on pretty fast that these people are usually the ones who are more likely to be the players, or attached, since in the first place, that kind of frisky fire just seems to have an inherent magnetic attraction that's irresistible.
