Charming visuals
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is extraordinarily exaggerated. Irresistibly intriguing effects though.
'Kudos to the effects team on the film, who made each of the character's superhuman abilities (at least those who had them) a visual masterpiece. From Skinner's invisibility to Mina's vampiric abilities, everything worked well; but of particular note were the creature effects of Edward Hyde as a misshapen behemoth of immense muscle that puts a certain green-skinned competitor to shame.'
I also wonder how do immortals and/or vampires accumulate their immerse wealth without having to work. I mean, even Superman dubs up as a reporter to earn his keep. Inheritance is definitely out. Daddy said that just like the world of humans, there are also poor immortals, though not always typecasted in movies.
Sending Daddy off wasn’t hard; but having to cope with a certain sense of loss is.
